DP is a really thoughtful and interesting person, but in social situations I sometimes find it difficult to be around him. He just seems to lack good listening skills and will go off on random tangents. He also interrupts people without realising, including me. I've tried to gently point out examples to him and he's been mortified but then reverts back to the same pattern. Anyone else have similar experiences with their DP? How do you deal with it?
