Hi,
I'm 24, he's 26. We've been together 3 years. He's always spoke about how he loves travelling and wants to live abroad one day but nothings ever come of it.
Anyway, we've planned that once i finish uni, we'll try and live abroad for a while.
But we went for a walk 2 weeks ago, and he said he hates his job, hates that he hasnt moved out of home yet, and hates the town we live in so he might move away and stay with some family before christmas.
Now, i'll be studying to be a teacher and for the next 2 years i'll be super busy so there's no chance i can go with him which he understands.
But i was a bit negative but he was telling me it will work, giving me stories of his family members that have done it and their relationship survived, that he will visit me and i can visit him during half terms etc.
Nothing has been brought up since but yesterday i went to his and i noticed on his computer (wasnt snooping, it was just right there on display) that he had loads of tabs open of jobs in other countries, some pretty much on the other side of the world to us. And i didnt say anything at the time but ive come back to my house and it's got me down.
I just cant stop thinking negatively - "what if he forgets about me?" "What if he meets somebody new?" And he's going to be having so much fun travelling whereas i'll just be doing my same old routine.
I just needed to get it off my chest :(
