Husband runs a pub. I have more than a full time job away from pub but i do what I can to help him. He'd had staff on until 6. He did 6 to 9 and I took over after that despite not being in full health at the moment. He was sitting on his phone posting something and I simply said, hey husband, what are you posting? Retort? It's football, not for women. It was the look on his face that told me the contempt with which he holds me.

No more tears. I'm withdrawing:-( just feeling a little sad with it all.)

How will you exit?

upsettraintraveller · 29/07/2018 00:20

Quite easily. I'm withdrawing labour including cooking and everything else I do practically and financially. He just has little appreciation for me. Little respect and certainly little affection. How long have we been married? 11 months. What a mug I've been

Can you move out?

upsettraintraveller · 29/07/2018 00:32

I can move back to my own home. He's just a complete idiot.

Live and learn! And you did better than I did. I put up with all sorts of crap for almost 5 years. Eventually had my eyes opened by my best mate who just wouldn't let it rest. She risked the friendship to get me to wake up and see how much he undermined and belittled me. I sang all the way home in the removal van. You've done this all by yourself! Have a Wine and some Gin to wash it down with!

upsettraintraveller · 29/07/2018 01:25

I sneaked down to the bar and helped myself. Benefits of living in a pub :-)

It's your pub?

Start advertising for a new manager and fire him.

RandomMess · 29/07/2018 11:10
