So I had a dream anyone want to help me figure

So I had a dream that closer to my wedding day I run away to my old/first ex bf. To which the wedding starts proceeding to me marrying the ex after 5mins or so I try to go back to my current real life partner but he has blocked me on all social media and I'm running around on the streets to find him as I don't want to marry the ex and miss the current fiancé.. Then I wake up all distressed and see my current partner is still there tgft.

What on earth was that about? Anyone can make sense of what this dream is telling me.

Sounds to me that you can’t believe your good luck that you didn’t end up with your Ex but that you found your DP. Hope your wedding and marriage to him is wonderful in every way.

It's probably reflecting on any doubts you have about marriags/your partner but emphasizing that you know in your heart that you love your partner x

Its just a dream. It doesnt mean anything, dreams are just scrambled up stuff that often dont make any real sense. Your thoughts tell your dreams things, not the other way around. You know how you feel :)

At best you can point to underlying stress but that's hardly news.

It can mean...

Dreams are compensatory in nature - so what main theme is it showing up to you that you are doing/not doing in your waking life? (As they are compensatory, your dream will be antithetical, i.e. the meaning will be its opposite.)

I'd say stressed about the wedding and running off with ex is a way to end the wedding/stress but that you actually want to marry DP just without all the stress; but just a guess from very little description. Good luck!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this I am under a lot of pressure and the wedding is in three weeks time and I still have so much to do that I am feeling overwhelmed... Going to relax and pamper this weekend and then get on top of it all from Monday as I have time off work from Monday x thank you all once again x
