I have posted lots on here before, i am deeply unhappy with my emotionally controlling relationship. I have been in the relationship for 10 years since i was 18, im now 28 and have 3 year old but scared of making that move into the unknown. Although i'm in no way shape or form thinking about another relationship at moment, I'm worried im getting older and will find it hard to meet someone in the future. Anyone have any happy / succesful stories of re-building themselves and their lives.

Namechanged for this.

When I was a little older than you, I left a relationship of almost a decade due to emotional and physical abuse. I am now in my 40s, happily married and have the career of my dreams. Leaving that relationship was the hardest but also the best thing I ever did. You deserve to be happy Flowers
