Cut me dead

I am married with kids but had a really good male friend at work. I moved jobs internally and kept I touch. We were really good friends- would talk for hours on the phone, meet for coffees, go out socially etc. Anyway, since I got a new job with another company I told him I was leaving and he has cut me dead. I sent emails, texts and messages and he has ignored them all. I just do not understand at all. Any clues? I really hope I haven't offended him. I asked a mutual colleague and she said I hadn't caused any offence. I cant understand who you can be good friends like that and then be cut dead. Any thoughts? We were friends for years. It is sad.

He's probably just feeling a bit upset so I'd give him some space to deal with his emotions.

Don’t think you’d offended him by what you did. I simply think he can no longer be arsed.

Is he married with kids too?
If so maybe his wife didn't appreciate him spending hours on the phone and going for coffees etc with you and has put her foot down.
