I'm struggling with a lot of emotional pain today. She wanted me dead from day one. Abortion failed. I was 9 when she left. Left me with an abusive df, every bit as damaged himself. I have Cptsd - the invisible disease. My pain is enormous. Even breathing is difficult.

I’m so sorry you’re struggling. Have you had any counselling?

My partners mother left him at the age of 11. He had been affected in so many ways. He was left in the care of an abusive father and step mother that disliked him. He was young, he needed a family but brought himself up.

I'm so sorry that you have experienced this. Have you had counselling? My partner hasn't but I hope one day he does seek help. He's not the talking type. Sending hugs.

Yes, I'm having counselling, I have been for two years now, but I'm not sure it's enough to cure my problems. I'm so depressed.

Oh Op. I feel so emotional reading this. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for you.

My son is 10. I want to cry for 9 year old you. I am so angry you were left, and left with a horrible father.

Same for moonshine's husband. it's too cruel.

I don't really have any advice. Other than try something like hypnotherapy? You get a recording at your first appointment which you listen to every day. It works on the subconscious and can help alleviate some of the deep pain you are evidently in. You can only go for one session or more if you are able to afford it. It's not available on the NHS as far as I know.

Hugs for you xx
