Feeling disheartened!

I'm a single mum. I have been for 20 months now. In my late 20s with a 2yo DS. I just feel so disheartened. Guys are interested for nothing serious or once I mention I have a DS then I don't hear from them again. I feel I will be single forever!

Anyone got any nice stories of being a single parent to finding someone to cheer me up and give me hope??

I'm sure it will happen!

My friend was a single mum for quite a while and she finally met someone who also had children. They're now happily married and have a daughter of their own together.

I know it sounds cliche but it will probably happen when you're not looking for it.

Are you meeting guys through dating sites / friends or where? If it's dating sites I think you have to pick and choose the ones you're on, or be prepared to have a lot of crap come through first!

Keep smiling xx

Aw that's nice :) I know I'll prob meet someone when I least expect it.
With my DD being so young I don't get the chance to go out often. So I've tried online dating but it's tough.

Have you got in your profile you have children? That can help to deter the ones who are put off by kids.

Oh and I went from being a single mum to 3 DC to being with my wonderful dp now. It will happen. Just don't put too much pressure on yourself to find 'the one' straight away.
Have a few different dates. Enjoy yourself, have fun.
