Sooo my brother and his DW are going through a divorce (seems amicble) they have two kids. We are as close as can be (they live in England and we live in Ireland). I am close to both the children,my brother and his (ex)wife. I am the children's only aunt - we have one other brother and my SIL has one brother who lives in America - the girls don't have much other adult contact - the girls know they are split up and know they live in two different houses my question is should I be asking the girls how they are and is there any topics I should avoid ? I want them to know they can confide and trust me and I'm hear to help but don't want to step on toes. I did ask one of them and she said she likes having two houses - I didn't push it. Any advice ?? They are coming over next weekend (both parents and kids)
