I want marriage and a child? We've sort of mentioned it in passing, but how do I bring it up? We've been together 4 yrs. I don't want to waste any time if he doesn't want that, is that nasty of me???

Do you know that you definitely want these things with him, specifically? You sound very sure what you want for you, but are you sure that you are compatible and things are solid enough to take that next step?

After 4 years you should be comfortable to speak your mind.

Just ask how he sees the future and make some plans.
