I’ve never used a blog before but thought I would try mumsnet to see if I can get some advice.

Long story short, I got with my ex and we had a baby girl. He was verbally and emotionally abusive and made me resign as he didn’t want to look after little one. We split when baby was 1 and he now refuses to pay any money or help with childcare and I can’t afford it by myself.

He controls the days he has her to suit his schedule and has decided that if he has baby he no longer will pay for anything for him. I am not allowed to leave baby girl with anyone and his insults still ring in my ears even after 1 year. I’m scared to call the domestic line as he has threatened me with social services and the jobcentre as he used to give me money.

I’m not sure what to do from here?

I think you’ve put this in the wrong section. I’m new to the site but this post needs to go in another area to get some comments and advise.

Hi there @OliveRainbow,

We hope you don't mind if we move your thread over to Relationships, we think you'll get some better support and advice over there.
