Help me leave

A couple of weeks ago maybe, I asked mn if I was in an abusive relationship. Posters said I was. I've been thinking about it a lot since, reading more and more, and I've started to agree- or maybe I agreed all along, but was too scared to admit it.

Anyway. Flat is rented, unfurnished but all furniture apart from some things were mine. I have three cats that I had before we met. We are engaged and TTC, although I've taken a break cycle. We are both women. I would like to stay in the flat, this is possible due to a flatmate moving in and I can find another easily. But how do I get her to leave? How do I tell her? I know that ending the relationship is the part where I would possibly be in the most danger and I need advice.
She's not home until tomorrow. So I have some time to think about it without walking on eggshells.
