I left someone last year, after 3 decades. I've recently had people telling me they can see I'm happier, my self esteem is beginning to rise, and the DCs are calmer and happier too.

You can do this, and you'll look back and feel great.

Lots of support from me too OP.... main( at times only earner) sole driver. Totally had the mick taken by psychologically manipulating and gaslighting abuser. Once I sussed him out there could be no going back. It will worth it in the end ... you can do it too !

Good luck, your doing the right thing. My STBXH told me to fuck off (he likes to use such words when speaking to me) two nights ago and I've finally listened.
I've told him we are over at his request and that I agree it's a good idea.
Hope you have some loving friends and family around to help you through it.
