Twitter Guru's? Please help going mad.......

So....very long story with DP being very porn dependant and issue after issue.....anyway he's "stopped" and all has been good for months, or so I thought!

So I need some help with Twitter. I still occasionally check his phone, internet etc and he knows I do. On Saturday I checked his Twitter Search History and the top 2 hits where Porn related sites.

He's amendment that he's not looked or been on them for months?!?!
I don't use Twitter, I have an account, so I logged in, did some random searches and it seems that the last thing searched is always at the top and goes down the list, the more you search, until it drops off the bottom of the list.....

Can anyone confirm, have a look at their search history, check if your searches drop down list or does it pull random ones to the list from old every now and again? He's telling me he's not searched for months and doesn't know why they are even in his list anymore......

Thanks...feeling super sad and confused what to believe. Desperately want to believe him, we have such a massive future planned and I really thought we had taken great steps recently together towards that. This has just pushed us so far back as I don't know whether to believe him or my Twitter Search!

Don't need any judgements on checking on him, trust issues etc etc.....you don't know history and don't want to go into it....please just let me know if you are a twitter guru or can check your history and let me know.xx

Sorry to say but, yes, the most recent search does always appear at the top of the search history. I've been extremely active on Twitter for 10 years and its always been that way.

Don't know about on a PC but on a mobile device if you click on the search bar it brings up your recent searches. You have to delete them to get rid of them.

If he has not used the search bar at all for months and months he could be right. Seems a bit unlikely though.

He used the search bar for the 3rd one down for sure as it was sofa shop and we had delivery issue on saturday - so I know the 2 above was after the issue on saturday morning

I know I'm right...and know I need to deal with it just needed to have a few more checks

What are you getting out of a relationship though, where you're monitoring his internet usage like a parent might? Just seems you'd be better off Aline or with someone u trust

Is there a treatment for porn addiction? CBT or something similar?

I use twitter every single day and actually no.

If you search something and the suggestion comes up before you press the 'search/done' button, the search never shows, it only shows for example if you typed loveisland and pressed the 'search' button before the suggestion for #loveisland came up.

Oh just read more and yes if he did a search and the new ones were above it then yes - however I don't think porn is the worst thing in the world and if he's willing to get help then it should be taken care of.

your right porn on twitter is not the worst thing in the world...but as said this on back of some pretty serious issues and porn is the starting point for more serious relationship betrayals so I need to be sure he's lying about his searches before I can work out what to do.
