Can anyone give me any advice on how to get into a refuge?

Emotionally abusive relationship, ( has been physical on occasion) but for some reason I can't stay away from him.

I think so as he's disappeared off in a huff again because shock horror I said I didn't like the way he treats me

i just feel so upset that it's come to this. I've tried so hard to be what he wanted and he still treats me like shit. I've been with him for 3 years. Lost family, friends because of it and I still stayed with him. I feel so stupid

Have left a message with the helpline. Hopefully they'll call back soon. I just want to get on with it now

Do you have children? Have you any family you could stay with instead?

No family to stay with. My children are currently living with their father as it was deemed unsafe for them to live with me. That's why I am doing this. Been a real wake up call and I need to get away from this situation
