Hello there

Can anyone recommend a divorce lawyer in Worcester (UK) area. Need someone who will work collaboratively on a 'no fault' divorce from ex (grown apart, no one else involved) but who won't take any s*t when it comes to the financial settlement.

Any personal recommendations would be gratefully received.

Your best option is to have a look on-line at local family solicitors.
See if any offer a free half hour.
Go and see all of them and see which one 'suits you' best.

What does he mean he 'won't take any shit'????
You are entitled to what you are entitled to and that's that really.
HE can't do anything about it.

Are there DC involved?
What assets etc... do you have?
Pensions, cars, savings, ISA's, properties.....
Don't forget, you will need your marriage certificate to start divorce proceedings.

I'm really looking for a personal recommendation from a Mumsnet member for a local divorce solicitor (local to Worcester/Hereford). Preferably a solicitor with the skills to negotiate a fair financial settlement and who 'won't take any s**t from my husband who is devious, tight-fisted and would definitely try to get away with providing me and our three kids with as little as possible.

All I've read about choosing a solicitor suggests that personal recommendation is the best route. It would be great if someone knew of a really good divorce lawyer in Worcester or Hereford.
