likeable.

SandyY2K · 05/06/2018 23:28

What it says on the tin.

CourtneyLovely · 05/06/2018 23:32

How old are you? You sound very young. My creaky memory thinks he fancies you if he says you're nice.

Sillybilly1234 · 05/06/2018 23:37

Is the guy Scotish?

Lustrum · 05/06/2018 23:40

Are ‘you’ and ‘she’ the same person? Ie the bloke is talking to someone else about you?

Nicegirl0101 · 05/06/2018 23:55

No i'm writing a book on about crushes and how to know the signs and possible outcomes. Using different senarios. i'm sure i'm not the only person asking about crush advice online. So when a guy says your nice, he fancies you?.

So when a guy says your nice, he fancies you?

No not always.

Nicegirl0101 · 06/06/2018 00:14

Always thought shes nice!, was a way of saying I like her but haven't got the guts to say so.

OP, it sounds like a sort of phrase that might take on more meaning in a particular local area.

So where I lived as a teenager, the phrase "she's tidy" meant that she was attractive - but that wouldn't be universally understood as the meaning.

You're writing a book about this? For what reason? Like an assignment or something?

Nicegirl0101 · 06/06/2018 00:22

Just noticed alot of vids on youtube an had an idea watchibg romance movies. U know like they dont write books on this stuff enough. Bang tidy is the one i know. Nice i guess could also mean take home to mum type. Not sexy but ok enough not to be a shock walking through door to your rels.

I swear there was a thread i here a few months ago about a bloke saying exactly that about girl? De ja vu anyone?? It was inconclusive I think

itswinetime · 06/06/2018 00:38

here it is

SoapOnARoap · 06/06/2018 06:41

Nice is a bit beige & could mean anything

ShatnersWig · 06/06/2018 08:01

No i'm writing a book on about crushes and how to know the signs and possible outcomes.

If you don't know them yourself, how on earth are you expecting to write a decent useful book on the subject?

SparklyMagpie · 06/06/2018 08:04

@itswinetime the exact same thread that popped into mind reading this one Grin

SparklyMagpie · 06/06/2018 08:04

@ShatnersWig 😂 my thoughts exactly !

lemonsunshinecake · 06/06/2018 08:07

You're writing a book on a subject you seem to know nothing about? Hmm

wonderings · 06/06/2018 08:12

I don't think it's a book you're writing, maybe a blog post in your spare time or something as you seem to be aged about 13 and know nothing on the subject.
If a man says "she's nice" I'm guessing he thinks that she is a nice person. I think the man who works in the corner shop is nice but I certainly don't fancy him.

Velvetbee · 06/06/2018 08:15

‘Nice’ can be an understatement where I am.
‘She’s nice!’ With raised eyebrows might mean ‘Wow!’

NakedBrainStrollingInManhatten · 06/06/2018 08:37

If I say I think a man is nice like "yeah I know Tom, he's nice" i usually mean that I don't know him well enough to have any opinion on him like "he seems nice from the little interaction I've had from him"

PsychedelicSheep · 06/06/2018 08:55

If you have to ask the internet what 'she's nice' means then you are not qualified to write a book on the subject!

bluebell34567 · 06/06/2018 09:35

that from your other thread :'He's not interested. He's enjoying a mild flirtation with someone he knows is interested in him.
It's simply an ego boost for him.'
so be careful and move on to next one.
