Tinder?

Hi,
I've only ever used eHarmony once a long time back and recently just signed back up again.
But I know OLD has moved on a lot since then and I hear Tinder mentioned often.
However, would it be correct to say it's really more of a 'casual hook up' website/app (which is not what I want) rather than a proper dating website? That is the rumour I've heard but unsure if that's a fair perception or whether it's worth giving a go?

Both I'd say. I've of my friends uses it to find one night stands easily, nearby guys agree can meet with that night. One of my friends was looking for long term and had just got engaged to a guy she met on it last year. Read their bio and it should give you can idea if they're after just sex or a relationship.

I had a fair few dates from there and met some lovely guys and not one 'hook up'. I then met my wonderful bf on there.

I wouldn't say it's just a hook up site, it's just a dating site. I often hear it called a hook up site and it's usually from people who have never used it.

There's all kinds of people on there. So it can be used for both people wanting casual sex and people wanting serious relationships. You just have to keep an open mind when signing up and understand not everyone will be genuine.
