Finding love again after heartbreak.

Hi everyone, so me and my partner of 16 years split 4 months ago, I was devastated. However I found out a few days ago he's speaking to someone else and has been on a date with them. So now my heartbreak feels even worse and I've spent the last few days crying.
We have 2 little boys together and will remain civil for their sake. Before I found, we were still friends, going out with the kids, even just the 2 of us and stupidly still sleeping together (he's moved in with his mum). Now though I've told him I can't be friends with him anymore.
So basically I feel I will be alone forever, as who wants someone with 2 kids in tow? But for my own sanity does anyone have any happy light at the end of the tunnel stories they wish to share, it would be nice to know there could be a happy ending.

It's very early days and these things take time. There's no hurry to go rushing around looking for another relationship. Give the DC time to settle and get their heads round what's happened. And if you find the right person one day, the fact that you've got 2 DC won't be a problem.

I was married for 12 years then left him. Thought no one would want me with 3 kids, shitty car, huge mortgage arrests, no nice clothes, saggy boobs bla bla.

Then I met the moment amazing man who treats me so well and doesn't give a monkeys what I have or don't have.

Right now it feels like the end of the world but it won't always be like this.
