Last night I was speaking to the boy I'm seeing since February this year casual in the ... he lives around 4O miles away.

Out of the blue and context he told me he wants a baby with me and to move.

I obviously was a bit shocked and laughed I said where's this come from he said my councillor said I need to be more open.

I haven't really spoken to him since which isn't unusual but is this councillor putting things into his head or is it him... atm he's the happiest I've seen/ heard.

Since February?

The only answer to that is a brisk 'Don't be so silly. Not for another few years at least'.

It's too soon. You say it's casual. If he really likes you, he'll be patient and will get to know you properly.

Had someone got hold of his phone while he was in the loo?

pinkyredrose · 23/05/2018 18:10

He's seeing if you'll go for it so he knows what you'll put up with.

I don't know how old you are but tell him you need a good 5 years to build up a trusting relationship. And don't let him move in with you too soon

MikeUniformMike · 23/05/2018 18:17

Do you mean counsellor OP?

Thingsdogetbetter · 23/05/2018 18:25

You call him boy rather than man which suggests you are both very young. It's casual, it's only been 4 months and he expects you to do the moving. This really isn't what his counsellor meant by being more open! It's a ridiculous idea and if he is serious suggesting this it's a very immature thing to be suggesting after 4 months of a casual relationship. If he's not serious it's a very immature thing to be casually throwing out there! Either way immature.

And to be honest a bit creepy! Exclusive talk first. Try that for a while. Moving talk next, logistics and financials etc. Try that for a bit. Long term plans next, marriage etc. Baby talk next. Jumping straight from casual to baby is weird! To say the very least. I call red flag!
