for those of you who 'know' my dp and remember what he 'was' like...

I've had a long long week at work and dp has helped out a lot with dd which I have really appreciated.

Tonight again he was at mine before I got there, even in his work clothes. He then offered to cook dinner.. spag bol (could barely make toast a few months ago) anyway not only did he cook dinner and stack the dishwasher and go up to dd when he called he then, then afterwards he said...

"I'm just going to nip home and get changed, is it alright if I have a pint on my way back"

oh. my. god. I nearly fainted, I honestly couldn't believe what I was hearing.

Just wanted to tell somebody, lol.

PS. do you think he has had some sort of breakdown?

Good, I hope he stays like that!

My dp was very lovely yesterday, he woke me up (ok it was 6am) but he massaged my neck, back, shoulders and gave me lots of kisses (without expecting to have sex) then at 6.30 he went and ran me a bath and then came back and massaged me. I felt truely loved and appreciated and was in a good mood all day. [smie]

It's nice when they make the effort

MOH

Sounds like you are making progress.

OH LMG, I think mine's got a bit of a way to go before he's that good!! must have been lovely.

Tempted fate by posting this though.. he rolled in at about 1am lol. Although he has offered to stay in tonight.. and he has done the lions share of the childcare this week so I can't really complain. Think he has a fair amount of credit in the love bank at the minute

ha, sounds good moh BUT usually my dh does this when he wants something...todays good deads were done as he had every intention of going watching the footie..
Thing is he denies it all week and then decides to go out 15 mins beforehand.Oh and no doubt won't be home till gone 3am.

I never trust dh...always does something for something iykwim.
