Any email experts about?

DP and I share an email inbox from our main provider, we have separate accounts but all mail goes to a shared inbox, been like that for years. We both also have separate additional gmail accounts, set up using our original shared email addresses for recovery. He's had an email this morning from google regarding changing their privacy policy but it's come through to an address ending 'gtempaccount.com'. Does this mean he has a 'secret' temporary gmail account or is this some kind of glitch?

There's been another thread about this - it seems to have affected lots of people. It's a glitch of some kind.

Was just reading that, thanks Screaming. It's not a new account email like everyone else seems to have received though, it's a 'google are updating their privacy' email so not sure it's the same sort of glitch

All things considered, though, it sounds as though something's going on with gmail and it's more likely to be connected to that than be your DP harbouring a secret account.

You're probably right Screaming, I struggle to trust him because of past lies (no cheating but still lies) so I automatically think the worst.

I have had a similar email from google and it is to my existing account.
