How much contact is normal when you’ve just started seeing someone?

I’ve been seeing a guy I met online for around 3 weeks, 5 or 6 dates in that time and we text most days. Neither of us is seeing/talking to anyone else and it seems to be going well. Trouble is my bad experiences of OLD have made me very cautious and suspicious and if I don’t hear from him I assume the worst. What’s ‘normal’ at this stage? Because I seem to have lost all perspective.

That sounds normal to me. When I was dating my DH we didn't text every day, more like every other day but we saw each other a couple of times a week.

Ime incessant. It’s the lovely bit.

I’d say a couple of days, once in the week & maybe an afternoon at the weekend? I’m suspicious of people that badger you for more time in the early days

Its whatever feels comfortable for both parties.
