So after all of the days events, and talking about the kids, we seem to have run out of general chit chat. What on earth else do you guys all talk about with your partners?? Are we resigned to a life of sitting at opposite ends of the couch on our phones in silence??

Books I am reading. Things he has read. Things going on in the world. Things going on with friends and family.

Holiday and planning for our future.

We can spend a whole hour in the car together and not say a word, it's one of the reasons I love him (happily married 10 years).

Books, films, tv, music, plans, work, friends, politics, current events, what we’d do with a lottery win (even though we don’t play it!), food, holidays we’d like to have, stuff one or both of us has been to/seen/done, would you rather, anything and everything

The future is the best thing to talk about.
It could be a family wedding, a holiday, your dreams of hiring a motorhome and travelling route 66, or how you'll one day own that apartment in Barcelona, or how it would be nice to disappear to a Greek island for three months to write that book you've always had in you.
Whatever it is, the future is most fun.

Usually what we are watching together. He watching factual educational tv. I like towie.
We mix it up. We talk and take the piss about a lot of things.
Usually just to make each other laugh.
