My friend is going through hell and I remember reading here that there's a fairly standard behavioural pattern many men go through after an affair is exposed; denying, then apologising, then wanting his marriage back, then threatening suicide/self harm, then blaming his partner, then getting aggressive (if she persists in leaving him) etc. Have tried to google this phenomenon with no luck. Does anyone know more please? Many thanks. /worried for her
