After being with DP since i was 16, we are getting married. Now obviously i knew we were getting married, but i seem to have just realised it's really happening! In 3 wks time, i'm going to be a wife! We're going to be standing up in front of people we love and saying we always want to be together, and he's going to put a ring on my finger

It's all so good-scary and exciting!

Normal nerves I'd say
Just enjoy your day - you'll have a lovely time

congrats!

ps being a wife isn't as bad as everyone makes out!!

someone is bound to write later on that it's worse!!! just ignore!!

If he's the right one for you (which you should know by now) then all will be fine

Congratulations! It's fab being married. Yes, it can be hard work at times but isn't everything.

Enjoy your day and enjoy your life together.

Congratulations!

Being married is great! 12 years on I still love it when I hear my dh say 'my wife ......' Hey, that's ME!

Biglips · 14/05/2007 09:21

congrats xxxx

DP is making me more excited by saying 'ah, you will make fine wife' in a fake Eastern European accent every time i make tea or wash his shirts.

It is scary but it will be best day of your life

AttilaTheMeerkat · 14/05/2007 10:20

Congratulations!.

May you both have a great wedding day and a happy life together.

Congratulations! Hope you both have a lovely day and just remember that wives come in all shapes and sizes and levels of "wifely" ability. I am a very poor wife, if you're looking at the traditional looking-after-your- man accomplishments, but dh, thankfully, doesn't appear to care very much and we've nearly got 9yrs under our belts now.
