We met online. Had no idea that we came from the same town (never previously met). But he now lives over 1,000 miles away, in another country. He travels with work, which is the only way we get to meet up. We message frequently, but only get to spend a few hours a month together. I really can't see this changing any time soon as we both have families in our respective countries and work commitments etc. We want to be together but this is proving so hard. Has anyone been in this situation and it all worked out? I'm starting to lose hope.
