I'm feeling a bit lonely and finding it hard to connect with people in real life for various reasons. So I was wondering whether any of you are involved or know of any interesting online communities. I was thinking along the lines of the long-defunct The Well, and even certain parts of LiveJournal (I tend to gravitate towards "culture" stuff - literature, film, arts, etc., in a very broad definition of the term, i.e. both "artsy" and popular).

Sorry to hear you're feeling lonely and finding it hard to connect with people IRL, for whatever reason. It happens sometimes. You seem to believe The Well 'defunct' but not so, my friend! It lives on Grin www.well.com/
