My fiancé had his ex wife on Facebook when I first met him but after he proposed I asked him to delete her which he did and happily so.

I am still friends with my ExH on Facebook we keep in contact see how each others children are doing etc. Whenever I am in Ldn we do meet for lunch, he does not tell his wife as she is worried he wants me back etc.

My partner knows I would not and is very secure and happy in our relationship.

Him asking her out for a drink might have been quite innocent if you are insecure in your relationship you will drive you GF away, so do be careful. An ex is an ex for a reason something most people never want to repeat.

Well that's not a simple 'out for a drink' really if it's an 8 hour round trip.
