Bedtime

What time does everyone get up and go to bed?

I am sick and tired of spending every single night....including weekends on my own after 9.30pm. Especially given that DD doesn't go down until nearly 9pm most nights!

DH is up early for work (5.30am) so I get that he needs early week nights but even at the weekends he still goes to bed at 9.30pm leaving me to sit on my own because he moans when I go out!!

Bed between 10 and 10.30, awake about 7 but rarely up before 8.30 and 9 is more usual.

Up whatever time our 2 year old gets up (seems to be around 6am of late).
Bed depends on what time dh is home from work. If he's on til close, he's not home until between half 11- midnight. Then by the time he's showered and we've had some chill time, we usually go to bed between 2-3am. When bed finished earlier we go to bed much earlier.

Similar to you OP but DH works very very early, 2 or 3am

The difference is he's very happy for me to go out, so I do! Exercise classes, friends, late shopping etc. We've been together almost 20 years though and he's always worked odd hours so it's normal for us.

I've read that it's supposed to be better for you to keep bedtimes consistent, even at weekends, so I can't blame him for wanting to keep in a routine.

But he is an arse for moaning when you go out, especially if he isn't even awake. What is his problem? I'd be much more upset about that than the time he goes to bed!

FWIW usually I get to bed by 11, then read for an hour or two, and wake up with the alarm at 7.30 wishing I'd gone to bed a bit earlier!

Bed at 9 asleep before 10.
Wake up anywhere between 430 and 7. The later I go to bed the earlier I wake up Confused

I get up at 5 for work so try to be in bed for 10. If dh is out I will go to bed even earlier if I can.
