I've just dropped my DC off at their dad's (ex h EA WNarc) and they were both sobbing, didn't want to go. They're there until next Sunday.
I held it together but am back home sobbing fit to burst.
It's just really shit.
We couldn't live with him but this is the worst bit.
Any hand holding or wise words would really help me, thank you my invisible friends.

Flowers

Can you call them over the weekend?

MyRelationshipIsWeird · 06/04/2018 17:58

Poor little things. It’s shit isn’t it.

What’s he like with them generally? Is this their first long stay?

FabulouslyFab · 06/04/2018 17:58

Putting the kettle on and passing the tissues. I have no wise words but will give you a hug. It must be awful for you but hopefully they are fine by now and having a lovely time. Flowers xx

How old are they?
Small children cry all the time and then are over it within minutes...
I used to cry hysterically when dropped off at the childminders as a child... causing my mother serious guilt.
and then sob inconsolably again when she picked me up every evening Confused

What Trojanpony said. My DSC cry when they have to go back to their mums - it's not that they dont love her...

Thank you.

My son cries his eyes out when dropped at nursery. He’s inconsolable.

We get video clips of him 30 minutes later after we’ve gone and he’s running around laughing.
