Am I being unreasonable? Me and my OH got together in December 2016. We split up between July and November 2017 as he didn’t feel ready for commitment. We got back together in November as he had had time to think about it and had decided that it is ready to commit. Fast forward 4.5 months and I still don’t feel that he’s any more invested than he was before. We get on really well and have a great time together but I’m still not part of his plans when he talks about the future and he still hasn’t brought up me meeting his kids or his family. He’s had a difficult few months so I’ve let it lie for a while but now things are getting back to normal I want to progress things. This isn’t unreasonable after a total of 10.5 months is it??i really struggle to express my self and find it really hard to bring up subjects like this. What should I say? I’m really worried that we are going to get up where we were in July 2017 which was in a position where we never spoke about the future or what we wanted out of the relationship to then realise that we wanted very different things.
