It's damaging ours and I know I need to cut down. What do you do in the evenings if you're not a complete addict yet?

My STBXH likes to wander past when I'm on the PC, see what I'm doing, and diss it. He commented the other day that everything on Mumsnet is all about sex. I said well no, it's a relationships forum so there's bound to be a fair bit about sex, but there are all sorts of other issues. No, it's all about sex, he said. Basically it's because if there is something about sex on the screen it catches his eye, but if there isn't it doesn't, so he doesn't read such threads ergo they don't exist.

Well I suppose in one sense he's right. Mothers-in-law wouldn't be in-law if we hadn't married their sons in order to, well, have sex (among other things). Our children wouldn't be here without it. We wouldn't be here without it. OMG HE'S RIGHT - EVERYTHING IS ABOUT SEX! EVERYTHING! WE'RE SURROUNDED BY IT!

Er excuse me, I think he's driving me mad. No 563 in an occasional series entitled "why he is soon-to-be-ex".

The same sort of issues crop up in our house, LMG.
Not football - but there have been times when i have been on Mn and i could ahve been at leats in the same room as DP watching bad tv. And talk more....
DP does resent MN a bit. Hmmm. hmmmmmmm

that enforced break will do you wonders LMG.

It's quite refreshing realising that life can go on without having to read what's happening on mumsnet .
