Finally got the courage to kick him out!

After months of living with my Husband lounging on the sofa doing nothing all day and sodding to the pub getting drunk x amount of times a week, I finally got the courage to kick him out!
Things had been bad for a while, but with him getting drunk every other day, being moody, and having sleepless nights due to the alcohol withdrawal sweats and seeing the impact on oour kids, I can now breathe a sigh of relief.
He may have emptied out our joint account, and I am feeling pretty anxious. But the feeling of not having to deal with his alcoholism feels like winning the lottery!
He still has majority of his things here - what now?

Well done! I don't have any direct experience but there is a lot of help here from and for women separating from alcoholics. I would visit one of those threads maybe. I'm sure you are doing the right thing, you must look after your own and your children's well being first! Good luck
