Hi,
It's just dawned on me that this is my life, I've split with my partner (he was a scumbag) and me and the child old have just moved into our new home and going it alone!

Just looking for other people's experiences of going it alone for the first time!
I'm feeling quite emotional, scared and also petrified of being the only adult in the house. I know I'm a big wuss but would love to hear your stories of doing it alone for the first time and tips coz I'm feeling really out of my comfort zone her 😂
Thankyou!!
Xx

You're not alone if you've got a little one with you...
I am alone alone, it has its ups and its downs....
Focus on making your new home lovely and settling in your son/daughter...

Being able to snuggle up in bed with a good book and no one moaning because the light is on.
Watching what you want on the telly, no matter how shite it is.
Not having to clear up after a bloke
No piss on the back of the toilet seat
Always knowing where sellotape/scissors are
Eating what you want for tea, even if it's a packet of crisps and a mars bar
No one snoring next to you
Making all the decisions on how you want your house to look
Your money is ALL yours, no justifying to anyone else what you spend.
I could go on, I went it alone after being with my husband for nearly 20 years, and whilst it was hard at first, I've not looked back.
