Hi all!

So me and my partner have done the deed 5 weeks after I gave birth but during it I couldn’t feel much Asif I was numb or my vagina had become really loose??

Anyone else experience this and will I get back to normal??

It is quite normal to feel like that and yes it you will get the feeling back, are you doing pelvic floor exercises?

At 5 weeks, you really are still healing. I wouldn’t expect things to feel normal so soon. I’m 3 weeks pp after a really easy natural birth and I couldn’t imagine having sex again in 2 weeks! After our first, we didn’t do it successfully until she was 7 months! That’s quite a long time and had more to do with just being exhausted and having no free time in the evenings. But I wouldn’t expect to even try before about 8-12 weeks. Just give it some time and see how you feel.

Good on you getting back on that horse so quickly 😂 I didn't have sex until 4months pp. The first time I felt loose 😬 but the second time it felt tight like skin around my stitches were too tight.

I guess it takes our bodies a while and our minds as think some of it is in our heads. As when I asked my fella he said it was normal like it was before.

Give it time you did push a baby out I'm sure over the next few weeks you will feel things change x
