Could be sincere, could be a way to get something he wants. Did it seem sincere?

It did seem sincere but I didn’t feel as though I could ask him to contextualise it for me I drove home wondering what would drive him to say something so lovely.

I would definitely take it as a friendship thing from a female friend I think!
