Hi All, I'm aged 31 and nearly 3 months pregnant, exciting news! Unfortunately I've grown apart from many of my friends who I have known for years but we have been drifting for a long time.. I'm in and out of different jobs due to my creative nature I find it really hard to stick at one office job which bores me senseless and crushes spirit.. just sharing this as am wondering if any others are in the same boat? I don't want to isolate myself too much but guess I am looking for a new awesome tribe to share this journey with.. any advice on getting out there would be great x

Perhaps try a yoga-for-pregnancy group? Or hypnobirthing group?

Perhaps look for crafty groups that you can join. Are you into knitting? Lots of knitting groups round, they're quite trendy now. Or a book club.

Or, if you're finding it hard to stick to a job, have a look at some of the baby groups. Perhaps you could train to lead one? There are all sorts, baby massage, baby music, etc.

I found myself in this boat. Wish I'd joined a group or something. Now dd is here I have found friendly acquaintances at toddler groups but no mates as yet.
I think the NCT do a group in my town for bumps and/or babies is there anything like that with you?
