Living without affection

Me and my husband are together for 2 years. We have a baby. My husband never kisses me or hugs me. He even laughs at me when I kiss him sometimes (like what's the point of kissing). It built up to the point when we don't have sex, because he is just not affectionate. I tried to talk to him about it many times but nothing seems to change. He is a good dad and good person, but the lack of affection is killing me. He used to be different first year, but I found out he is smoking weed occasionally and when he is high he is affectionate. I didn't know that the first year we were together he smoked weed before he was about to meet me every time or woke up before me to go have a smoke so first year was perfect. Now it's like I'm hoping he will smoke so I can get a kiss or cuddles . I don't know what to do ....

What do you get out of this relationship now, what is in this for you?.

What did you learn about relationships when growing up?. Would you want this sort of dysfunctional relationship for your DD as an adult, no you would no. So why is it at all acceptable to you on some level?. You do not know what to do either?.

You've now found out that he has to smoke weed first before he is at all affectionate with you. That is horrifying. How exactly is this man a good dad, let alone a good person?. He is neither, he is an addict who has simply led you down the garden path. His primary relationship is with weed, not you or your DD.

You have a choice re this man, your DD does not.
