It drives me insane! He's currently in the bath upstairs and I'm trying to get dd off to sleep upstairs in the next room and all I can hear on his phone is a group of men shouting over a game and dp laughing splashing about in the bath. Hmm like a bloody child.

Drives me mental.

Yes!
It is a male DNA flaw. As is putting a duvet cover on without crying.

Cambionome · 18/02/2018 22:18

He is making all that noise while you are trying to get a child off to sleep? Confused

Tell him to shut the fuck up.

phoenix1973 · 18/02/2018 22:19

Yes tell me to turn it daahhhhnnn! Like I had to. He's now got wireless headphones. Happy all round.

phoenix1973 · 18/02/2018 22:19

Tell him....not me

student26 · 18/02/2018 22:21

Yeah. It's how I know where he is in the house. It's pretty irritating at times!

Twocatsonebaby · 18/02/2018 22:21

He did have some but no matter what the damn thing is always always on. He needs constant stimulation whereas I need complete silence and to avoid too much going on. I have severe ptsd problems and over stimulation to me makes me so uncomfortable. Co habiting in this sense is hard. He never seems to get the memo though

Mine did this and It drove me so nuts he now uses headphones. It's worse. Feels like from the second he gets ho e until the second he goes to bed he's glued to the bloody thing and I can't even ask a q for the room next door because he can't hear me. It's miserable. I'd rather he put the tele on for 30 mins of crap whatever and then came back to the present moment.
