Over sensitive ?

DP works overseas. I had a traffic accident on Thursday but decided not to tell him until yesterday on FaceTime so that he could see I was ok ... not to worry him type of thing . Anyway I developed some pain by yesterday so it was plain that I was in discomfort and he was annoyed that I hadn’t told him about my accident . I apologised for calling it wrong .
Today we agreed that I needed to seek medical attention as pain was escalating. He told me to update him . He was going out ... ( different time zone ) ....
I have messaged him to tell him I’m ok but on painkillers and rest for 48 hours ... he hasn’t checked his phone at all . For 5 hours now ..

Sorry to sound needy but I’m a bit tearful that he was cross for not being informed but now hasn’t checked in to see how I am ....

Yes, you're being sensitive and emotional. And also sending your DH very mixed messages. How is he supposed to know how to react?

You also sound a bit unsure about what to say and when to say it, and why you do you need his agreement to seek additional treatment... is he very controlling OP? You sound a bit unsure of yourself. Have some to hopefully make you feel a bit better.
