Hi. I'm a middle aged widow and have not long made friends with a lovely man. We are in an in between stage where we are more than friends because of what we feel for each other but we haven't gone beyond that. He has only had one short relationship ever, and he's 50- odd so I need to be patient. I don't want to let the 14th go unmarked but don't want to be too forward. Was thinking of a card but unsure what to say in it. We live 70 miles apart, won't see each other on or around the day. A gift I feel would be too OTT. It's got to be a card or message sent online. What do people think?
