Am I lesbian/Bi?

Never posted on mn before but I’ve lurked for a while. I’m a single mum, two girls. Been single for three years now since the girls dad and I split. I am VERY happy being single, just like DTD every six months or so.

I’ve been attracted to both men and women as long as I remember. I’ve kissed a few women in my younger days but never as a prequel to trying to have a relationship.

Now I’m 36 and tbh, the thought of being with a guy turns me cold but I’ve not got a clue how to access the lgbt scene. Plus I don’t want to set up a dating profile looking for women as I’ve never had a lesbian date/relationship before and I’m not sure if in reality I’d want one.

Is there anyone I can turn to? Message?

Try the meet up website. Lots of lesbian and gay groups on there.

Seconding meetups.

Also, Women's Centres often have lesbian and bisexual women social support groups as do some LGBT centres which can be good for just meeting people while you're questioning through this. I'd also recommend if you use facebook having a search if there are any groups or events like women's discos or meals togethers.

Just be open about it, most of us have gone through a questioning process. My inbox is open if you'd like to talk.
