Came out of an emotionally abusive and controlling marriage 2 years ago and have been working on getting myself back together. Small blip when I tried to give my ex another chance but realised quickly he had not changed at all.
Fast forward to now, quick venture into online dating and started chatting to someone who lives nearby, and tonight we met up...
Who knows if it will go anywhere but it’s done me the power of good already and I am lying here with a big smile on my face. Let’s hope there’s a second date.....
