I gad dd on my own at 30 and made lots of new mum friends through playachool etc.
Fast foward 10 years and hardly anyone is left. A new mum came on the scene and was all over me....called me her best friend etc.
She then mwt other friends of mine with whim she had more in common. Fair enough but now i dont see any of them anmd i feel isolated. Sometimes i am blanked at school gate.
Dd has new friend. Her mum seems nice and we had her dd over but she dosnt seem interested in being mates. Tbh i am very wary of others now so i am shy.
I have some decent friends from before dc but some are frenemies.
Luckily i have dp who is wonderful and possibly my best mate.
Still miss girlfriends though but dont want to get burned. It gets harder as tou get older too!
