I have posted on stately homes thread before but I went for counselling tonight and feel I'd just like to post things I remember that she did.
Please feel free to comment and or add your own fucked up parent shit

I don't think she ever told me she loved me as a child
She had an affair and got the guy to pick me up from school and then we all went home
Moved me 300 miles from my home, my father and friends to be with same guy
When I used to cry at night about missing my dad she would send him into to soothe me as she was too distressed 🙄
She sent him to parents evenings with me
They would go off on holiday and put me in a B&B aged 14
Constantly threatened a nervous breakdown throughout my teenage years
Would allow me to put myself in danger
Threatened to put me into care
As an adult when staying in my house she would expect to sleep in my bed
She would put her slippers under the door so the dcs couldn't wake her up early

what a nightmare .
My mum well. Never came to parents evenings after age 9 .
Never cooked so we either had crisp butties or chips .We only ate a proper dinner when my dad was not on lates.
She had an affair with her best friends husband until he died and then she disowned her . She never woke his wife at his death bed so she was last to speak to him .
We had one change of clothes as our school uniform would do while she had a massive wardrobe full of expensive stuff including hand made leather boots . She used to get her hair done every week .
I could go on and on but you know what I dont care any more . Ive been a good mum to my son or at least i hope I have .
She now has dementia and I do go and see her but no one else bothers. Its sad .Read up on narcissistic mothers
