HUSBAND HAS YOUNG GIRL ON INSTAGRAM

Hi i usually just lurk on these boards, but i have just seen on my husbands instagram that he is following a young girl, i would say she is in her teens, he said that she followed him but i asked to see his phone and , its him following her, it makes me feel sick,why would a 47 year old man follow a young girl, am i overreacting thanks for any replies .

It doesn't sound good but I'm not clear on how Instagram works

Maybe you should point out he is being a sad old git but, tbh, it's nothing new. I've met many men in their 40s who drool over teenage girls (upper teens).
It's pathetic!

It could be something or nothing.

But, does she have lots of followers? She may well do the thing where she follows someone to get them to follow her and then unfollows. I know that sounds complicated and absurd but your husband may well just follow everyone back.

Could easily be just a follow back. If he follows loads of people I’d be less worried than if it’s only a handful. If he follows lots of people then he could easily have failed to see her posts.

I use Instagram ALOT for business....you would need to look at what photos she's sharing? how old is she? Is she Instagram famous? Also like others have said, more than likely she is a follower ghost. They follow you for a while, then unfollow once you've followed back. It helps them boost their profile. Also see if he's liking her photos and such.

I have a few young girls on mine. Boys too. Teenagers, some early 20’s, some even not quite teens.

My husband has the same i would think. Maybe a couple of young boys, teen girls.

My dd is a teenager and often gets requests from older men and women.

I wouldn’t for a minute think it’s odd. Generally there is some link- we have hobbies and will follow the young athletes to follow progress. Or it’s friends kids or friends parents.

It says something to me that you’ve jumped straight to “dirty old man” because he’s followed a teenager on IG. Have you asked him what the link is? If the answer is she’s good at golf/video games/origami then that’s a completely different scenario to I want to shag her/masturbate to her videos...
