Meeting a man

Any single parents have any fabulous ideas about how to meet someone? I've been single for more than five years. Social life pretty limited and nothing promising at work. Have tried online dating but nothing much there

I was a lp and met my now dh in a bar.

No ideas about how to meet a man, I'm afraid. Tried the online dating but it's fairly hopeless.

However, just going out and meeting new people generally via meetup and citysocializer etc has been a positive move forward for me.

Go where the biggest variety of other people go. Don't try too hard. In fact don't try at all.

Magnets attract just by being there.

Go to a motorcycle race meeting at one of the many circuits around the country, there will be thousands of men, young & old to chat too. I have many friends that are single bikers that probably think the same as you about meeting a partner.
