I joined tinder just over a month ago and swiped right for a man I knew from when I was a teenager (my first love used to be his friend). We chatted for a while and had a lovely date but since then we’ve just messaged each other. He has a lot going on in his life which I understand so we have decided just to stay friendly and chat every now and then, which I’m happy with, he’s a nice man.
Anyway I’ve been off tinder over xmas so decided to have another look and his friend has popped up. Now he is really nice looking and a nice person and I would normally swipe right, but don’t know whether this would look a bit vindictive to the other guy and I don’t want that to happen. Any advice on what to do. Anyway it’s probably unlikely he would swipe for me, but just in case....

Well, it sounds like the parting was mutual?

Do you really think the first guy would pay you the same consideration if he fancied your friend?

Swipe right, all's fair in love and war.

Swipe right. You both agreed it wouldn't work, the world is smaller than you think so avoiding anyone who knows anyone we've ever dates isn't practical anyway
