Feeling so lonely

All I've done this weekend is piss about on my phone despite my husband being in the house with me. Why? Because he's so fucking boring. I've suggested we do things I've suggested he come to walk the dog with me I've suggested weeks ago we book Christmas dinner out as it's just us 2 this Christmas (my kids are with their dad) I've suggested we go away...nothing. he won't even talk to me about anything that isn't a whinge let alone make the most of a child free house!!

All he's done is insist I do the housework and play on his PlayStation before going to bed at 830pm.

I'm so fucking lonely and to top it off I've just seen on social media my whole family went out Carol singing tonight.

OP, why are you with him?

BumpowderSneezeonAndSnot · 24/12/2017 23:43

No idea. This Christmas has really made me see what a selfish lazy arsehole he is

He sounds like a total asshole.

Sure you wanna be with him OP?

DeltaWave · 24/12/2017 23:46

In that case, I guess you know what you have to do. Sorry you're having a crap Christmas.

mickhucknallspinkpancakes · 24/12/2017 23:46

Can you make some plans to join your family tomorrow? I'm sure they could squeeze you in for lunch?

Leave the miserable bugger home with a raw turkey.

Insisted you did the housework???

I'd have found a few choice places to rest the mop handle op. HmmHmmHmm

Earlyriser84 · 24/12/2017 23:47

What a grinch he is

Leave him to do the housework and perhaps pop to see friends and family instead over the festive period.

He doesn't sound nice to live with.

Wishing you all the best x

If it's any consolation, my DP came back from the pub at 8 and has been asleep on the couch since 8:30pm ! Wink

Well to show how little he thinks of me... present unwrapping

All I asked for was something to show he had put thought and effort into buying a gift. I got foul smelling bath stuff - 2 things wrong with it 1) only enough product for 1 bath and 2) I'm allergic to one of the essential oils in it so I can't even bloody use it

Sad, you're feeling that way. Think you need to treat yourself to some nice smellies. Do you have anyone close by who you could spend the day with?
Have you spoken to him about how you are feeling?
